Photos From Last Night’s SF Film Fest Gala Event

What a great time last night!  Thanks to the 1,000 or so of you who showed up to the screening of D tour and the acousto-tastic Rogue Wave (plus John Vanderslice) set.

(funny quick sidebar – JV’s rep as the “nicest guy in indie rock” held up nicely throughout the night despite a steady stream of hazing for his stunty new album pre-order scheme.)

It was also great to see all the “stars” from the film – surgeons, doctors, organ donation specialists, etc – reppin’ in the audience.

I snapped some low grade iPhone photos from 14 rows back.  Sorry for the low quality but email us if you have some nicer ones and we’ll post!

Thanks again!

Nurse Nora made me go. I did it mainly to humor her and proceeded to complain about paying $12.00 for a film with no cute robots or evil supervillains. Man was I wrong. D Tour is one of the finest films I have ever seen. Caring about such brave and compassionate people was the key for me. The deftness with which the tale (actually, tales) was told was remarkable. Superbe! Author, author!
